The day was led by our SSAG (Student Social Action Group) students with a special presentation from the debate team at City Honors School.

We spent the morning discussing the importance of civil discourse and empathy during challenging conversations and then after a live demonstration of the Public Forum Debate format from our guests from the City Honors Debate Team, we spent the afternoon dissecting research and preparing to have our debate in the Chapel with the topic of Celebrity Culture being  more harmful than helpful to American society.
